“The purpose will be to recognize and honor those persons who through their humanitarian performance, professional achievements and/or civic/patriotic service reflect credit on the Ayersville Local Schools so that present-day students may find identity with the past and establish goals for the future.  The Hall of Honor will reinforce and enhance a positive image of the Ayersville Local Schools both inside and outside the district as it also strives to foster an increased sense of pride among students, faculty, staff, alumni, and residents.”

Selection Criteria as follows: 

A maximum of three (3) honorees will be selected each year and recognized/inducted at a winter event.

For graduates of Ayersville Local Schools 

• Has established themselves as a good example for Ayersville students

• At least ten (10) years interim between graduation and induction

• Significant or outstanding achievement or contribution in a vocational field, community service, philanthropic endeavor and/or  civic/patriotic service 

Former staff and others 

• Has established themselves as a good example for Ayersville students

• At least five (5) years interim between employment with Ayersville Local Schools and induction

• Extraordinary service to Ayersville Local Schools
